At the beginning of this month, the only spread I had in my albums for October 2016 was for my October Day in the Life. Now, all of my weekly spreads are complete! (I still have a few thematic pages to finish off).
Here’s the last weekly spread I have to share for October 2016, covering the 16th to the 22nd:
The main event for this week was a practice tournament with Eliza’s robotics team, and the Kelly Purkey August kit was awesome for it with all of the “idea” themed supplies.
- Kelly Purkey August 2017 Kit
- Hero Arts Clearly Kelly Kelly’s Everyday Alphabet Stamp and ink
- Ali Edwards precision pen
- Ali Edwards Summer Sticker Variety Pack
- Ali Edwards Pendleton ink
- Becky Higgins Design A page protector
Going on here: Loving the tree colors, Ava discovering Atari, Eliza at a movie night at a friend’s, walk with Ava and Jonas, Jonas caught a moth.
None of the 4×6 cards were working for my spread, so I taped two 3×4 cards together for my title card. Stapling a string across both helped to bring it together as one card.
I haven’t done a lot of layered stamping, but this one was fun! I like being able to stamp a colored background and then add on an outline for definition. (I need to remember to get out my stamps more.)
Going on here: Practice robotics competition for Eliza’s robotics team, the She-Nerds (which I co-coached last year), snuggles and book reading, Jonas and his friend playing with Pokemon cards.
Hooray for finishing October! I didn’t make much in the way of current things in the last quarter of last year, so I’m planning on doing the same thing with last year’s November spreads during this month!
