If you know me, you know that Instagram is my favorite social media platform. When they started out with their stories I was like nah, I don´t know about this feature. But then I learned more about it and now it has some new features that I love. I use stories all the time and also add filters, but mostly text. I like how you can add words to the same photo over and over so that when you click forward it becomes like a story
I have made a few projects with photos I have edited/shared on my stories. Mostly I use them in my project life spreads, but I wanted to show you 2 layouts I made too.
The above one is one I made with a photo of when I taught my niece to crochet! I love that she is interested in my crafts and she was so good and caught on right away. You can see that I added text and a sticker to my photo in the stories feature and then just printed it out to use on my layout.
As usual I work my design around my photo, so that is what I did here too. At first I didn´t know if I would add any journaling, but yes I think it needed a little more explanation So I added a few words of background on the pocket card.
Here is another super simple page I made with a photo from my IG stories. It´s about my super cool Saturday night plans
I didn´t add any journaling to this yet and I am not sure I will… I think it is pretty clear what I am wanting to document, so I might just leave it out. I added some paint splatters just to jazz the page up a bit!
And here is an example of how I use the photos for in my pocket pages. We thought a dinner on the patio late September would be lovely and peaceful! We forgot we have cats
Thanks for stopping by!
