Today I’m sharing tips about using flair on your memory keeping projects!
Let's start #nndailytip back up! This week I want to talk about flair, because I've been neglecting them and this'll inspire me to get them back in my product rotation. To put on the inside or outside of the pocket, that is the question! There are pros and cons–putting flair inside pockets tents up the pocket, creating glare and sometimes dents. But on the outside, they can get caught on things and fall off over time. I like a strong adhesive like red tape if I'm going outside the pocket, but I tend to make the decision based on the particular page.
This week for #nndailytip, I'm talking about flair. One of my favorite design tricks for circle products is to overlap them with the edge of the page slightly and cut off the excess. Since you can't snip off bits of flair, you can get the look by layering the flair with a circle label sticker, like I did with this insert!
Ground flair in the corner of a page with an embellishment cluster, like I did here by layering label stickers, thread, an enamel dot, a puffy sticker, and flair. This is also a good way to use up partial embellishments if you've snipped them in half for another project or another spot on the page. #nndailytip
