The November challenge is to Try on a Different Style.

For this challenge you can scraplift or create a project inspired by another memory keeper you admire, use products that don’t typically go with your style, or try switching up your level of embellishment. If you’re a minimalist, maybe you want to try a messy project. If you tend toward a more modern style, maybe you’d like to make something cute! If you are typically a paper scrapbooker, maybe you want to try hybrid. Shake it up!

I love the bold and minimalist style of creative team member Lisa, so I decided to scraplift a page she did for the Portrait with Stuff challenge. It worked great for this page about Take Your Child to Work Day! I made a few alterations to fit in a different sized photo and added a bit of ink to the perimeter, but overall I stuck to Lisa’s design and this page came together so quickly.

I’m inspired to scraplift the other team members now!

I’d love to see your take on the challenge! Share a link in the comments or use the hashtag #nerdnestchallenge on social media!

Remember that you can do anything you’d like for this challenge–it doesn’t just have to be scrapbooking!

Check back on Mondays to see takes from Nerd Nest Creative Team members and throughout the month for extra takes from me!
