In addition to some of the fun kits I’m subscribing to from Ali Edwards and Kelly Purkey this year, I’m trying to use more of my Project Life kits. I probably have enough of them for a lifetime! I actually have a harder time using these simpler kits, but adding a few embellishments here and there helps me to brighten them up and make them feel a little more “me.”
This time I combined the Project Life Ready Set Go Value kit with embellishments from past Freckled Fawn kits.
This side is everyday stuff: a pretty sunset, Jonas rocking his new shirt from his grandma, snuggling and reading to the kids, baking, playing, and visitors.
I added in a 6×8 insert so I could fit in an extra story about our foster baby and a photo of our friends over for dinner.
I wanted to use a Design P protector, with all 4×4 spots, so I cut down 4×6 cards from the kit.
It was glorious to have a nice, warm, bright day in the park, so I dedicated a full page to the photos.
