Documenting Jonas's Birth With Project Life by Megan Anderson

This week, to celebrate Project Life Lessons, the Big Picture Classes workshop I’m teaching with Elise Blaha Cripe and Annette Harring, I’m posting a Project Life spread every day this week. The workshop started this morning, and it’s been wonderful already. You can sign up through September 11, but if you’re late to the party you’ll miss my chat this Saturday! Welcome to the Project Life extravaganza!

Today I’m sharing some pages from Jonas’s hospital stay post-birth. I’ve documented a lot from after he came home in my weekly 2011 in 2012 Project Life album, but I haven’t done a whole lot for his birth story. I’m planning on mixing traditional and Project Life pages into the family 2010 album, but I wanted to get some of the special photos documented in a very simple way.

I love that the pockets let me easily include memorabilia as well.

I’ve already shared this one, but I added it in for continuity.

The main pages I’ve added recently were of all of the photos we took of friends and family holding Jonas. To make them come together quickly, I mixed three Project Life kits: Baby, Seafoam, and Kraft. I love that mixing in blues from other kits lets me “boy” up the neutral PL kit a bit, which is awesome because I’m not making an entire baby album: I use it whenever I’m documenting about any baby, really.

Really super simple, and totally awesome. I know Jonas will love seeing his family holding him when he was first born!
