Week 21: May 20-26

This week I mainly used the Studio Calico Valley High Project Life Kit, which I bought with a gift card I won from a contest on Instagram. Wahoo! (And thanks, Studio Calico!)
Left Side: All Instagram collages and everyday stuff like the kids doing yoga, Eliza cooking dinner, and Jonas do-do-do-do-dooooooing at a rooster in our neighborhood. For the journaling, I basically just listed out what’s going on in the Instagrams. I also used some of the journaling from this randomly right now post.
Insert 1, Back: More of Jake’s night photography.
Insert 2, Front: All from Week 8 of Project Real Life, about honoring tradition and the City Market.
Insert 2, Back: Doing outdoor stuff and going to see a The Great Gatsby with my mom and aunt. One of the cards also has more journaling for the 12×12 layout on the right. I tied it in by using supplies from that page.
The bulky elements are on the outside of the page protector.
Right Side: I documented Fakesgiving, for which I made a homemade Thanksgiving dinner all by myself. I documented the experience on Instagram, so I was able to get the times and in-depth writing on how the day went even though I made this page two months after the event.
The page is inspired by two classes that are now closed for registration at Big Picture Classes. (Yes to forever access!) I used the basic design and printibles from an assignment in Cathy Zielske‘s Clean & Simple in conjunction with a story structure concept from Ali Edward‘s Hello Story. I love that taking classes can help me take my storytelling to the next level.
Also, how awesome are the Kelly Purkey embellishments on here? I love her Kelly Purkey Feed Me Flair, Kelly Purkey White Letter Stickers (my absolute favorite product right now), and Kelly Purkey Teal Letter Stickers.
It’s so fun to see how much work went into cooking the meal, and the timeline really shows that it was an all day ordeal. Pretty awesome.
Are you doing Project Life? How’s it going?
