Project Life 2012 | Week 52

Okay guys, this is the big one. Ready for it? Project Life, Week 52! December 23-29.

Lots of pictures of Christmas parties! My Great-Grandpa’s on Christmas Eve-Eve and my Dad’s side of the family on Christmas Eve morning at our house.

I added space for extra journaling by adhering one side of a folded Project Life card to a 4×6 card.

And the crazy amount of inserts begin. I wanted a few traditional pages, so I cut down a 12 x 12 page protector to 12 x 11 and closed the opening with washi tape. Having an 12 x 11 page still feels like a full page, but you can still see through a bit to the rest of the week.

This page is about the family gathering at Jake’s Dad’s Christmas Eve night.

Document a Series of Events

Then Christmas morning. I’ve already shared the page about Santa’s Harry Potter scavenger hunt on the Document Life Workshop blog for the Document a Series of Events challenge.

I included the note from Santa, which was in Eliza’s new Smash Book.

I made a little page highlighting the presents the kids received from us and Santa, because I know it will be fun to look back on.

Then Christmas brunch at my Aunt Beth’s with my Mom’s side of the family. I also wrote about the party with Jake’s Mom’s side of the family Christmas evening, but we didn’t get any pictures of that event.

That circle technique is stolen from an Ali Edwards page in an old issue of Creating Keepsakes.

A peek at what Jonas is like at two. I blogged about this page here.

Like the previous 12×11 page, this one is cut down. But I sewed this one shut instead of using tape.

And then Jonas’s birthday!

It was a CRAZY week for us. Whew!

I’ll be sharing the final pages of the 2012 album sometime next week, but coming up is some Project Life 2013 action!
