Red Rocks and Rural Kansas were beautiful, but the best photography opportunity during our Denver trip was on Flagstaff mountain. There were great views, even though we didn’t stray far down the trails. We didn’t have much daily light left, so it was nice to be able to pull over at two trail areas to get some great views.
Click on the photos and, don’t worry, we’re not really standing at the edge of cliffs. The trail tricks the eye.
And to think Megan wanted to go indoor bouldering at the spot. Of course, she didn’t know it would be 60 degrees out when she planned that. She got outvoted in favor of the trails, but I promised her we’ll go rock climbing here in Kansas City soon to make up for it.
It was so beautiful. The pictures don’t even begin to do justice to the experience!
