Still going crazy with Project Life updates with no indication that it’ll be stopping any time soon. And I’m loving it.
Really everyday photos this week: almost all of the photos were taken inside or right outside of my house, with the exception of one Instgram taken less than a mile from my house. My homebody-ness is well represented.
The decorating this week is minimal, but I did set out to use a good portion of my semi-hoarded Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Sticker Book. I also used the Studio Calico Classic Calico Vol. 2 6X6 Paper Pad a lot. It’s really versatile. Everything else was pretty much from my scrap box.
The first page has Eliza emptying the dishwasher, Jonas baking (again), Jake tickling Jonas, my Mom hanging out with the kids, what we’ve been watching on TV lately, and Eliza making cotton swab / ball skeletons.
That “Watching Lately” card is from Allie’s Everyday Journaling Cards, which you received free if you subscribed to the Document Life Workshop newsletter early on, but you can buy them now here! I got them all printed on cardstock and cut them out.
And I love that “Today Is” stamp from Elise Blaha Cripe.
I also started the workshop Project Real Life by Becky Higgins at Big Picture Classes this week, so I have an extra full 12 x 12 insert for the prompts from the class and the cards that came from the workshop. Represented is my breakfast, our shoe spot, and me doing laundry (which is totally unflattering, but it’s realistic, so in it goes).
Also, I’m going to be obsessed with the Project Life 3 x 4 Grid Journaling Cards from now on.
The rest of the workshop stuff: how I read the news, our parking spot, my favorite piece of furniture, and part of my nightly routine (I now have an NTI mouthguard, which prevents me from grinding my teeth at night and stops my headaches- hooray!). There’s also some journaling lifted from our post about cloth diapering a toddler, which goes with photos on the next page.
Last page: photos of Jonas in his cloth diapers, Jake’s sister Savannah, Eliza and Jonas playing together, and, as usual, a collage of Instagram photos.
That’s a wrap! Simple and easy. Now I’m off to make some decaf tea.
