Project Life 2012 | Week 34

Playing a bit of catch-up with Project Life. Week 33 was a little insert happy and this week is no different (which is why I’m running a little “behind”– the amount of photos from these two weeks was a little overwhelming!). This week has two inserts, but it will have a third. There will be two 8.5 x 11 pages about Eliza’s First Day of School coming soon.

The left page and the front of the insert was all from one day: Sunday. We had a nice, lazy day with Jessica, my best friend who was in town from Denver.

Those photos of Jonas kill me. So cute.

The insert has the rest of the Sunday photos, the week number and dates, and the journaling for both pages.

The back of the first insert contained Monday, our last day with Jessica, and seeing her off at the airport.

The second insert has a sweet note from Kim Smith that she slipped into our print purchase. We loved that she wrote us a handmade letter on recycled paper! Handwritten letters are the best.

The insert is 6×12 inches, but I just slipped the letter in without worrying that it didn’t take up the whole height.

I put the trimmed down the envelope that the prints came in and put it behind the letter. I loved the tape she used, and I love international stamps! (I used some of Kim’s packaging in these lists too.) Kim also included a special surprise in with our purchase, so you’ll be seeing more Art Equals Happy stuff coming up. (Thank you, thank you, Kim!)

Our address is blacked out.

The right side of the spread is all everyday stuff. The card with the journalling is just quick descriptions of what’s going on in those Instagrams. Simple, simple.

Love this week. I also love to see my style change over time: it’s more and more about the photos and the words instead of the embellishments as time goes on. I love that.

Has your style shifted at all this year?
