Playing catch-up with Project Life this week. As you may have guessed from the ridiculous amount of blog posts last week, it was a little too crazy to get posting PL in. So you’ll get PL two days in a row (week 31 is coming tomorrow).
Over thirty photos this week, many of them crummy ones taken with my phone (can’t wait to get a phone with a better camera in January!), a lot of celebrating (my birthday was on the 23rd), lots of family, lots of friends. I like that at least two or three nights a week someone is visiting our house. I don’t always get photos in, but I count at least 16 visitors to the Nest last week! This is a full life we’re living.
Left side: Jonas and I in our teeny front yard, a birthday girl’s lunch with my step-MIL Po’s Dumpling Bar, visiting with Jake’s step-mom and mom on Sunday, hanging out with Jake’s brother and his girlfriend, hanging out with our friend Steve, hanging out with our friend Nick. My mom and sister are in the background there too. The theme of this page is “talking and doing nothing with cool people at our house.”
I broke out my brand spankin’ new 9 Pocket Trading Card Protectors for the insert. The front side documents my birthday (which was pretty much centered around food, whatever that says about me). Also some swimming, crafting, and hanging out with my best friend Harvey and his wife. And Walking Dead. And reading Game of Thrones. Yep. Good.
Flip the insert.
Annnd the back of the insert is just filled with tons and tons of photos (again, mostly from my phone). Just good old everyday stuff with labels, labels, and more labels. I’m almost out of my October Afternoon labels, so I’m thinking about making some digital ones instead of restocking. I have several sets and use them constantly.
The last page is more visiting people! Hanging out and talking with our friends Paul and Steve (we’re trying to get as much Steve in as possible because he’s moving in a few weeks) and a big family dinner/ movie session with my dad, step-mom, aunt & uncle, and their kids. My step-mom brought dinner and birthday cake (THANK YOU!!!) and my uncle brought over the new Nightmare on Elm street. The kids watched cartoons upstairs and we meant to have a Nightmare marathon, but didn’t get past the remake. We’re getting old. Plus great pictures of Jake and Jonas running around like crazy people.
This week was amazing. I’m so glad that all of these little great things, all of these people and all of this LIFE is getting recorded. Can’t stress enough how much I love this project.
