Welcome to Week 12 of Project Life!
Another week with no insert and almost 30 photos! I feel like I’m really getting in the groove now. I have a process and I’m knocking out spreads much quicker than I was in the beginning. I think it’s time to start project Reverse Project Life 2011 soon.

This week, I went simple on the embellishments again (I’m starting to really like it that way) and chose springy colors. Notice that I don’t worry about girling it up, even though there are boys on there. It’s about the season.
I kept it super simple and squeezed a ton of photos of Eliza in by creating a photo collage and printing it 4×6. Squeezing three photos, one vertical and two horizontal, onto a 4×6 is one of my go to’s. Notice I did two of those collages this week. I’m going to post a tutorial on how to do this in Photoshop tomorrow.
Journaling | Sunday we went to see Grandpa Ray and then went to U.S. Toys so E could use her modeling gift certificate. We had a pretty routine week. My background check cam back, so I tutored on Thursday. Tay was on Spring Break, so she spent the night mid-week. Saturday we went to Beth’s and saw Poppy before he left for his cruise. Then E spent the night @ Tim and Rita’s.
*I tried to put details of the week in the journaling that weren’t included in the photos.
The right page includes cute photos of the kids, photos of my mom and sister (they had dinner with us), and making octopus and cheese.
All of the flowering trees were in bloom last week, but the petals started to fall before we could get a good photo. All this week, Robert Frost’s poem “Nothing Gold Can Stay” has been stuck in my head, so I included it on the date page for the week in place of a photo of the trees. I typed the poem with my prized cursive font Smith Corona Cougar XL typewriter.
That’s Week 12 and I’m in LOVE with this project.
