Scrapbooking is a hobby that, let’s face it, is just as much about collecting as it is about memory keeping. I’ve gotten a lot better about not hoarding or buying every cool thing that comes out (you’ll notice that the majority of my supplies are circa 2008-2009, when I worked at The Scrapbook Page), but I still have a lot of stuff to keep organized.
I’m no organization guru. My studio is an absolute mess 100% of the time. But I do have one thing figured out: sticker organization.
In order to wrangle my masses of stickers, I put up an inexpensive curtain rod (with three brackets for extra support) and hung big groups of embellishments (in manufacture packaging) with jump rings.
The embellishments are grouped by what works for me: letter stickers (3 sets, organized by color), embellishments I’m saving for specific projects, rub-ons, Love Elsie embellishments, brads, journaling spots, flowers, etc.
I love that I can take off a whole set, close the jump ring again, flip through the options without making a mess, take off one at a time, and then put the whole thing back again. It makes looking through my supplies so much easier!
And here’s a little peak into the studio. You’ll probably need to click on the photo to see a larger size in order to read all of the little labels.
Full disclosure: I totally cleaned this area for about 10 minutes before taking a picture
How do you organize your supplies?
