Eliza saw my June Reads layout and wanted Eliza’s Reads layouts too!
See the capitol “C”? The font was all lowercase, so I cut up a “0″. Make due with what you’ve got.
I layered several stickers to give a layout dimension. It adds visual interest to an otherwise linear page.
Use accents that subtly support the theme. I chose the lock, key, and button because they are all found in the Coraline story. The Colaline image is actually a downloadable desktop background. Hybrid scrapbooking doesn’t need to be complicated; incorporating printed digital elements is super easy!
The journaling was pulled directly from this Eliza’s Reads post. I love pulling journaling from blog posts, because I usually wrote the post when the memories were still fresh. This journaling is in Eliza’s own words. She wouldn’t have remembered this much about the book if I had asked her about it now.
