No octopus were harmed during the making of this dish.

So… this is less of a recipe and more of an edible activity to do with kids. Jake saw this online somewhere (can’t re-find the source) and immediately had to make it with Eliza.

Jake and Eliza making Octopus and Cheese

Here’s what you do. You skewer raw hot dog slices with uncooked spaghetti pasta.

They’d actually look like octopus if you just stuck a bunch of shorter noodles in one hot dog slice, but Eliza wanted to do it kabob style.

You then boil it all together according to the noodle directions. Drain.

And add cheese sauce (we made ours out of butter, milk, and Velveeta).

Voila! You have octopus and cheese. How much fun is that?
