To keep the season crafty, Eliza and I have decided to do an ornament a day in December. Well, until Jonas gets here at least. We will not be making Christmas ornaments in the hospital. Maybe her grandmas will take over.
For the first day of December, we made these cute little owls. We’ll be more original most days, but we found a cute little kit at Target and couldn’t resist. We had a busy night last night (Has anyone else had to go to the post office lately? It is a commitment with those lines!) We also drove out to get a lovely vintage hutch for our house (Thanks Phil & Char!). So having a quick before-bed kit proved useful.
I love how hard she concentrated. She loved pealing the backs off of the little adhesive foam pieces.
Eliza insisted that the owls hold hands (er…wings), so we had to put them on the tiny tree just so.
We’re going to get started on our Day 2 ornament right now! Do you have any daily holiday traditions?
