We have two bathrooms in our house, but no one used the second one except for the cats. I even store my carpet shampooer and mop in the shower :)

Bathroom Makeover Phase 1

I thought that if i made it prettier in there, we’d start using it! So now it is the orange dinosaur bathroom. Here’s phase one of the makeover.

Bathroom Makeover Phase 1

The bathroom was inspired by this dinosaur clock. I bought it at a local craft fair a few years ago. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the artist. Since most of our house has a nerd theme and this bathroom is connected to Eliza’s room, we thought we’d make it over with her favorite nerd love right now: dinosaurs! They were my favorite when I was little too.

I’ve started some crafty projects for in there. These are totally inspired by Rachel Denbow. I bought tipi embroidery art by her last summer and love it!

I’m going to do more to them, but couldn’t wait to put them up.

I also think I need to make about a million more.

I also added a lot of enamelware. I collect it, so this is just an excuse to get to keep one more color! I was so lucky to find this giant orange bowl at an estate sale. I got about 6 pieces of enamelware for practically free!

I also love this turkish coffee pot. They are so very versatile! It’s my soap holder. There’s an orange one in a smaller size available in our shop.

Bathroom Makeover Phase 1

Ta da! There’s a lot more to do. I’m going to paint a pattern onto the shower curtain and fancy up some towels. I might even make some vinyl stickers for the toilet :) Ah, the challenge of decorating ugly apartment bathrooms.
